This edited volume examines teacher education and inclusive schooling in India under NEP 2020 and NCFSE 2023. Across six parts and 18 chapters, it embeds inclusion as a core competency in pre-service/in-service training, including the 4-year ITEP. It synthesizes UDL frameworks, curriculum differentiation, inclusive pedagogy, assessment, assistive tech, and culturally responsive teaching for diverse classrooms. The book addresses systemic changes like school cultures, family engagement, teacher leadership, and barriers. It calls for practitioner-researcher models, longitudinal studies, and multi-level policy action for equitable education.
